16-year-old arrested following threatening messages sent to pupil at Ysgol Bro Myrddin

Dyfed-Powys Police attended Ysgol Gyfun Gymraeg Bro Myrddin this morning, Friday October 11 at approx. 11.20am.

Concerns were raised following a threatening message against one of the pupils of Ysgol Gyfun Gymraeg Bro Myrddin, Carmarthen. The messages were not from a student within the school.

The school took appropriate safeguarding action which concluded swiftly.

One boy, 16, has been arrested in connection to this incident and we are not looking for anyone else.
