County-wide ‘Living Well’ Events hosted by Carmarthenshire Council and Hywel Dda

A series of Living Well Events, hosted by Carmarthenshire County Council and Hywel Dda University Health Board, are due to be rolled out across the county over the coming months, with the first event hosted at Newcastle Emlyn Leisure Centre on Friday, 16 August.

Aimed at supporting Carmarthenshire residents of all ages, the Living Well Events allow people to engage with a range of services that will promote preventative lifestyle activities, wellbeing and understanding of the support available to stay well, self-care and remain well at home.

The all-age events will have attendance from a range of services from across the County Council, Health Board and the third sector that promote prevention and wellbeing in the community. Information, activities, and taster sessions will be on hand for residents, allowing them to engage with representatives from various organisations about what you can do to live well.

The types of activities that will be available include play activities, Actif Leisure taster sessions, relaxation sessions, arts & crafts and more.

Refreshments will also be available.
