Police investigation launched following shooting incident in Cardiff

South Wales Police was called at around 8pm on Saturday, June 7, to a report of a shooting incident in Pontprennau, Cardiff.
Officers attended a house in Clos y Ffynnon and a 15-year-old boy was taken to hospital.

Fortunately, his injuries are not life-threatening.

Detective Superintendent Mark O’Shea, from South Wales Police, said “We understand the concern this incident will cause, and I want to reassure the local community that teams of detectives and specialist staff are working at pace to piece together the events of Saturday evening.”
