Nosferatu and accompanying Organ to thrill St Mary’s Church, Kidwelly

On the 18th of October at 7pm we will be showing the famous 1922 silent film Nosferatu, with accompaniment on the organ by Mr Andrew Pike. There is a suggested donation of £5 per ticket (available on the door) and refreshments will be available.

The first film adaption of the Dracula story written by Bram Stoker, although it does not follow the plot exactly. It is a classic tale of good versus evil and without giving away any spoilers, deals with issues of self-sacrifice and service to others without the prospect of earthly reward. It also demonstrates the only way that evil spreading in the world can be conquered, ultimately defeated for ever and the hope that can be found when all seems lost.”
