THE bill for policing asylum seeker protests outside Llanelli’s Stradey Park Hotel is an estimated £300,000, a police and crime commissioner said. Dyfed-Powys police and crime commissioner Dafydd Llywelyn said he would try to get the money reimbursed by the UK’s Home Office, which wanted to accommodate up to 240 asylum seekers at the hotel.
