Change to September Bank Holiday bin collection service

HOUSEHOLDERS in Carmarthenshire are being reminded that there are changes to bin collections this Bank Holiday Monday.

Monday household waste collections will now take place Saturday, September 17. This also affects garden and hygiene/nappy waste collections.

Householders area asked to put their bins out by 6am on the day of collection, and remember, the maximum number of black bags you can put out is three a fortnight.

Please recycle as much as possible in your blue bags and put any food waste in your green bins which are collected weekly. Collections for the rest of the week will continue as normal.

The recycling centres in Trostre (Llanelli), Nantycaws (Carmarthen), Wernddu (Ammanford), and Whitland will all be closed on Bank Holiday Monday.
