From the courts October 4th

The following people appeared before Llanelli Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (Oct 4).

32-year-old Mr Steven Daly of Ffynon Las, Ammanford

The court heard that on 27/07/2022 Daly failed without reasonable excuse to comply with the supervision requirements imposed following release from a period of detention in that he failed to report as directed by a supervising officer for an appointment with a supervising officer and failed to keep in touch with Supervising officer between 27/07/2022 & 17/08/2022. In accordance with section 256AC of the Criminal Justice Act 2003.

Daly admitted the breach and was Committed to prison for 10 days.

He was ordered to pay costs of £60.00

34-year-old Mr Shane Lee Davies of Isgraig, Burry Port

The court heard that on Davies failed without reasonable excuse to comply with the requirements of a community order made by Llanelli Magistrates Court on 15/07/2021 by Failing to attend an Unpaid Work appointment on the 21/06/2022, as instructed and failed to attend a planned office appointment with his supervising officer on the 18/08/2022, as instructed. In accordance with Part 2 of Schedule 10 to the Sentencing Act 2020.

Davies admitted the breach and was fined £200 and ordered to pay costs of £60

23-year-old Mr Niall Moran of No fixed abode

The court heard that Morgan failed without reasonable excuse to comply with the requirements of a
community order made by Haverfordwest Magistrate Court on 24/05/2022 by failing to attend his unpaid work requirement on 05/09/2022 and 12/09/2022.. In accordance with Part 2 of Schedule 10 to the Sentencing Act 2020.
Morgan admiTted the breach. He was committed to prison for 18 weeks in relation to other original offences

33-year-old Miss Alison May Rixon of Cartref, Cwmgarw Road

The court heard that on 03/10/2022 at Ammanford breached a domestic violence protection order
made by Llanelli Magistrates’ Court on 26th September 2022. In accordance with section 63 of the Magistrates’ Courts Act 1980.

Rixon admitted the breach and was committed to prison for 28 days.
