31-year-old man charged with attempted murder following North Road incident

A man has been charged with attempted murder following an incident in the North Road area of Cathays, Cardiff on Tuesday, March 28.
Christopher Elgifari, 31, from Llanrumney, is remanded in custody and will appear at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (Friday, March 31).
A 54-year-old man remains in a critical condition at the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff.
His family has been updated, and they continue to be supported by specialist officers.
Detectives are continuing with witness, house to house and CCTV enquiries.
