On Sunday March 24th, South Wales Police was notified by Dyfed-Powys Police of the discovery of a body of a man on the bank of the Loughor Estuary.

The body has been identified as that of Daniel Jones, who was reported missing from the Swansea area in December 2023.

Daniel’s immediate family has been informed. They are being supported by South Wales Police officers.

Dyfed-Powys Police will oversee the Coroner’s enquiry and Mr. Jones’ family has been contacted by the Coroner’s Office.
