Investigation into serious RTC in Grangetown continues

South Wales Police is continuing to investigate a serious road traffic collision which occurred on Dunleavy Drive, Grangetown, at approximately 8.40am on Saturday, May 17.

The collision involved a blue Fiat 500 and a cyclist – the 72-year-old cyclist was admitted to hospital where he remains in a critical condition.
A 19-year-old man who was arrested following the incident is currently released under investigation.

Officers investigating the incident are continuing their appeal for information.

Anyone in the area at the time who may have witnessed the incident or who may have come across the scene after the incident, or any motorists driving along the route at the time who may have relevant dashcam footage, are urged to make contact – give reference 2500155483.
