They believe he ran past the location of the incident just before the incident happened and may be able to assist their investigation – he is asked to make contact, as is anybody else who may recognise him.

Officers are also looking to speak to anyone who went to the Chatterton Arms between 7:30pm and 11:30pm on February 27, or Pencoed Rugby Club between 11:40pm on February 27 and 00:30am on February 28.

David Rogers died in hospital on March 2, a week after the incident.
Liam Walters, 26, of Pencoed, was charged with his murder and has been remanded in custody.
