Five in Hospital and one Arrested following Serious Collision on A477

Five people have been taken to hospital, three with serious injuries, following a collision on the A477 between Llanteg and Red Roses in Pembrokeshire on Sunday afternoon. A 23-year-old man has been arrested and remains in police custody.

The Collision

The crash occurred at around 5pm on Sunday, 24 May 2026, on the A477 between Llanteg and Red Roses in Pembrokeshire, a rural stretch of road that forms one of the main routes between Carmarthenshire and the Pembrokeshire coast.

Two vehicles were involved: a grey Honda Civic i-VTEC and a white Kia Soul 2. Emergency services attended the scene and five people were taken to hospital, three of whom sustained serious injuries. The conditions of all five are not yet known at the time of publication.

A 23-year-old man was arrested at the scene and remains in police custody. Dyfed-Powys Police have not confirmed the nature of the arrest at this stage.

Police Appeal for Witnesses and Dash-Cam Footage

Dyfed-Powys Police have launched a witness appeal and are asking anyone who was travelling on the A477 at around 5pm on Sunday to come forward, particularly those who may have seen either vehicle before the collision or who have dash-cam footage that could assist the investigation.

The force has issued a specific appeal to visitors who may have been travelling through Pembrokeshire on the day and may not have realised their route took them along the relevant stretch of road.

“If you were visiting Pembrokeshire yesterday and are not from the area, please check your route in case you were travelling along this road at the relevant time. Your information or footage could be vital to the investigation.”
