Dorothy’s Still boogying at 100

CONGRATULATIONS and celebrations took place at Blaenos Nursing Home in Llandovery for a very special lady who turned 100-years-old on December 3rd.

Dorothy Hollick celebrated her 100th birthday in style and incredibly she was still up and dancing to Cliff Richards tunes.

Dorothy was surrounded by family and friends and of course, she received that special card from King Charles and Queen Camilla.

Dorothy broke her hip a year ago so ‘to see her up and dancing was wonderful’, said her daughter-in-law Janice.

Dorothy’s son John and daughter-in-law Janice said they would like to thank the home so much for the wonderful care they provide for Dorothy. They also wanted to thank Jess, Amy, Ivy and Dawn for a wonderful party and Gorgeous cake and Robbie Lee for making it an unforgettable day.
