Police appeal for witnesses following alleged assault on a child at Johnstown

Police are investigating an allegation of assault in what is known locally as the old Davies Estate, Johnstown, Carmarthen.

A report was received that sometime between 5.15pm and 5.30pm on Saturday, 14th October, a young child was pushed off their pushbike, by a man, while they were cycling from the footpath onto Heol Drindod, near the post box.

The child received minor injuries.

The man is described as a white male, tall with black curly hair and wearing a black Adidas hooded top. He left in what is described as a black van.
