West Wales Friends of Palestine hold 27th Vigil in Carmarthen

Last Saturday West Wales Friends of Palestine held their twenty seventh Vigil calling for a permanent ceasefire in Gaza.

This time they held a washing line with fourteen items of children’s clothing across Guildhall Square- 14,500 children have been killed in Gaza in the last seven months-so one item on the washing line for every 1,000 children who have died.

Sue Davies, spokesperson for the group said ‘We are grateful for all the support that local people have given to our Vigils including signing our petition, donating money (which we have sent to Medical Aid for Palestine) and joining in the Vigil.

We will continue to be here every Saturday between two and three until a permanent ceasefire happens’
