Police appeal for witnesses to road traffic accident on Pontamman Road

Dyfed-Powys Police is appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision that occurred at approximately 8:30pm on Tuesday, 8th February, on Pontamman Road, Ammanford.

The collision involved a silver Volkswagen Jetta and an e-scooter. The 25-year-old woman riding the e-scooter sustained serious injuries and remains in hospital. The 34-year-old driver of the VW Jetta has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and failing to stop at the scene of a collision. He remains in police custody.
