Llanelli Veterans Association distances itself from security firm at Stradey Park Hotel

There has been some confusion and misinformation surrounding  the identity of the veterans who are involved in security at the Stradey Park Hotel.

Speaking to Carmarthenshire News Online Bob Thomas of the Llanelli Veterans Association said that it had come to his attention that people were approaching Llanelli veterans and asking them why they were not supporting the local community.

He said that the members of the Veterans Association had nothing whatsoever to do with security at the site and that the association was all about providing support for the community in the community.

The company providing security is Veteran owned. https://leadelementsecurity.co.uk/

Their website states: “Lead Element Security is a UK security company, owned and operated by veterans. We are more than security guards, we are highly trained, SIA registered & experienced in all areas of security & manned guarding.

“Our deep roots in the British Armed Forces are reflected not only in the background of our founders and managing partners but in the work of our security officers. We are all former British soldiers with extensive experience and knowledge in security and risk mitigation. We operate across the UK with clients up and down the country, taking on assignments locally, nationally and internationally.

“One of our core principles is that feeling safe in your home, at your business or in your community is essential, and not a luxury. Our aim is to deliver an unrivalled guarding & security service to our clients, prioritising professionalism and trust.”
