Cyfri’r dyddiau cyn croesawu Eisteddfod yr Urdd 2023

Dim ond 30 diwrnod sydd i fynd tan Eisteddfod yr Urdd hir ddisgwyliedig Sir Gâr.

Hefyd, y penwythnos hwn fydd cystadleuaeth Harddu Sir Gâr yn cael ei lansio, sy’n cael ei threfnu gan y Mentrau Iaith ac sy’n annog cymunedau, busnesau ac ysgolion i gael eu henwi fel y rhai a addurnwyd orau wrth i’r sir baratoi i groesawu Eisteddfod yr Urdd i Lanymddyfri rhwng Mai 29 a Mehefin 3.

Mae fflagiau ar gael i’w prynu o’r Egin a’r Atom yng Nghaerfyrddin – £12 am 10 metr, gyda lleoliadau eraill i’w cadarnhau yn fuan.

I gael rhagor o wybodaeth am y gystadleuaeth a mwy, ewch i dudalen we yr Urdd sydd gan y Cyngor: https://newyddion.sirgar.llyw.cymru/2023/2/eisteddfod-yr-urdd-llanymddyfri

Eleni bydd mynediad am ddim i deuluoedd incwm isel i Eisteddfod yr Urdd.

Mae dwy ffordd y gall teuluoedd incwm isel hawlio tocynnau am ddim:

Aelodaeth £1 yr Urdd – bydd e-bost yn cael ei anfon at deuluoedd sy’n derbyn Aelodaeth £1 yr Urdd i nodi sut i hawlio’u tocyn. Bydd yr e-bost yn cynnwys cod disgownt unigryw y gellir ond ei ddefnyddio unwaith gyda’u cyfrif.
Ffurflen gais – gellir cwblhau ffurflen gais ar wefan yr Urdd i hawlio tocynnau incwm isel. Cyn hawlio tocynnau, bydd angen i’r person neu’r teulu gadarnhau eu bod yn gymwys drwy ddefnyddio’r meini prawf a restrir. Bydd gwybodaeth lawn a meini prawf i weld pwy all wneud cais am docynnau incwm isel ar gael ar wefan yr Urdd.
Dywedodd y Cynghorydd Darren Price, Arweinydd Cyngor Sir Caerfyrddin “Gyda 30 diwrnod i fynd, mae Sir Gaerfyrddin gyfan yn paratoi i groesawu Eisteddfod yr Urdd. Gadewch i ni gyd fynd i ysbryd y dathliadau trwy addurno ein cartrefi, ein busnesau, ein hysgolion a’n cymunedau a rhoi gwir olygfa i ymwelwyr ein sir wrth iddynt deithio i’r Eisteddfod yn Llanymddyfri.

“Bydd mynychu Eisteddfod yr Urdd, yn eu sir eu hunain, yn brofiad unigryw i blant a phobl ifanc Sir Gâr. Rwy’n falch iawn, felly, bod darpariaeth mynediad am ddim i deuluoedd ar incwm isel ar gael, a fydd yn galluogi pob teulu a phlentyn yn Sir Gaerfyrddin i gael y cyfle i fynychu’r ŵyl unigryw ac arbennig hon.”

Mae tocynnau ar gyfer yr Eisteddfod a Gŵyl Triban ar werth nawr. Bydd tocynnau ar gyfer dydd Gwener, 2 Mehefin a dydd Sadwrn, 3 Mehefin hefyd yn cynnwys mynediad i Ŵyl Triban. Bydd prisiau’r tocynnau yn cynyddu ar 29 Mai.

The countdown is on for Carmarthenshire to welcome Eisteddfod yr Urdd 2023

There’s just 30 days to go until the long awaited Eisteddfod yr Urdd gets underway in Carmarthenshire.

This weekend is also the launch of the Harddu Sir Gâr competition, organised by the Mentrau Iaith, which encourages communities, businesses and schools to be named the best decorated as the county prepares to welcome the Urdd Eisteddfod to Llandovery from May 29-June 3.

Bunting is available to purchase from the Egin and the Atom in Carmarthen – £12 for 10m, with other locations to be confirmed soon.

For more information about the competition and more visit the council’s dedicated Urdd webpage: https://newsroom.carmarthenshire.gov.wales/2023/2/urdd-llandovery/

This year there will be free entry to low-income families to the Urdd Eisteddfod.

There are two ways for low-income families to claim free tickets:

Urdd £1 Membership – an e-mail will be sent to families who receive the Urdd £1 Membership with information of how to claim their ticket. The e-mail will include a unique discount code that can only be used once with their account.
Application form – an application form can be completed on the Urdd’s website to claim low-income tickets. Before tickets can be claimed, the person or family will need to confirm that they are eligible within the listed criteria. Full information and criteria of who can apply for the low-income tickets will be available on the Urdd website.
Cllr. Darren Price, Leader of Carmarthenshire County Council said “With 30 days to go, the whole of Carmarthenshire is getting ready to welcome Eisteddfod yr Urdd. Let us all get into the spirit of the celebrations by decorating our homes, businesses, schools and communities and give a real spectacle to visitors of our county as they travel to the Eisteddfod at Llandovery.

“Attending the Urdd Eisteddfod, in their own county, will be a unique experience to the children and young people of Carmarthenshire. I’m delighted, therefore, that a free entry provision to families on low-income is being made available, so every family and child in Carmarthenshire has the opportunity to attend this unique and special festival.”

Tickets for the Eisteddfod and Triban Festival are on sale now. Tickets for Friday, June 2 and Saturday, June 3 will also include access to the Triban Festival. The ticket prices will increase on May 29.
