Dyfed-Powys Police were called to an incident at a farm near Llandeilo on Friday (Sep 23) following reports that a man had suffered an injury.
The man subsequently died as a result of his injuries.
It is understood that the incident happened during a TB test at the farm.
An investigation has been launched and the coroner and the Health and Safety Executive, have been informed.
