Blood Clinic no longer hosted at Antioch Centre From May 20th

Antioch Centre has partnered with the NHS to provide a Blood clinic service to the local community.

This is an appointment-based system to avoid long waiting times and ease pressure on the service at Prince Phillip Hospital. The clinic is based at Antioch Centre but the appointment system is now run within Prince Phillip Hospital.

To book an appointment, please contact the appointment line on: 0300 303 9642.

You can also now book a blood test online. Click here to book.

From May 20th 2024, Antioch will no longer be hosting the blood clinic. The online system hasn’t yet been updated to reflect this change. Any appointments booked online from this date will be at the new venue. (Location to be announced by NHS.)

Please note: Antioch cannot help with blood test queries or appointments. It is run by the NHS in partnership with Antioch Centre.

Dame Nia Griffith MP said: “It is very concerning to read on the Antioch Centre page that from 20th May they will no longer be hosting the Hywel Dda Health Board’s blood test service. I will be seeking urgent reassurances from the health board that they will find another place that is in Llanelli and conveniently situated.”
