The Llanelli & Mynydd Mawr Railway will hold an End of Season Gala happening on Saturday 26th September 2026.
Trains will be running between 10am and 3pm with all of the operational trains at the railway running during the day, featuring Baguley Drewry Railcar no. AD9117 between 10am and 11am, Sentinel 0-4-0DH no. 10222 providing brake-van rides between 11am and 12.30pm and Class 143 Diesel Multiple Unit no. 143612 running between 1pm and 3pm.
There will be access to several cabs from The Cab Yard collection and the Class 442 CabSim will be available to use during the event (pre-book and drop in).
The SuperSprinter Café will be open throughout the day offering a range of hot and cold food and drinks and access to our Woodland Trail and recently unveiled Miners Memorial will also be available to view.
There is free admission to site and free parking available. Train ride tickets cost £10 for adults and £8 for Children and Senior Citizens. All tickets include unlimited train rides and can be bought on the day or from www.ticketsource.com/llanellirailway
