Fixed Penalty Notices for littering, dog fouling and dumping waste

A NUMBER of Fixed Penalty Notices have been handed out across the county recently for littering, dog fouling and people using an unlicensed carrier to remove their waste.

A FPN has also been to a Llanelli resident dumped a sofa in Clos Sant Paul in Tyisha. The offence took place in November and was captured on CCTV.

Cllr Philip Hughes, Carmarthenshire County Council’s Cabinet Member for Public Protection, said: “The illegal dumping of any waste ruins our county’s landscape and I am pleased that thanks to the hard work of council officers we were able to identify the persons responsible. I hope that this serves as a reminder that we will not tolerate fly-tipping of any kind in Carmarthenshire.”
