Llanelly House closes temporarily following fire

The Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service attended a fire at Llanelly House on the evening of Saturday  (Jul 8). The fire was extinguished with no injuries and management at the venue offered their  sincere thanks to the Fire Brigade for their quick intervention.

Fire damage was limited to a ground floor plant room. The historic parts of the building appear to have been affected by smoke only.

The House will now be closed for the time being. House Trustees and management are co-ordinating next steps and contacting those with bookings.
