Needles and pins crafters provide poppy displays for Llanelli

The needles pins and crafty things group, have been busy for the past few months making poppy displays throughout Llanelli.

Jane and Linda the group organisers along with their group members, have created these magnificent displays, remembering those who gave their lives today for our tomorrow.

The displays can be seen on Gelli Road, Llwynhendy, Bryn and Trallwm Club, Llanelly House, Llanelli Town Hall and St Elli Church, Llanelli.

A number of displays have been put in place across Carmarthenshire as the county gears up for Friday’s service at 11am on the 11th month.

The main Remembrance Day Parade will go ahead in Llanelli as well as in villages and towns across Carmarthenshire.

Services are held in Burry port, Kidwelly, Pontyates Dafen and Bynea and have drawn large numbers in the period after the pandemic.

The needles and pins and crafty things group meets every Wednesday 1-4pm at the Bryn and Trallwm Club, Llanelli.
