Police investigate fatal road traffic collision in Burry Port

Police are investigating a fatal road traffic collision, involving a vehicle and a pedestrian, which occurred at approximately 10.50pm on Friday 15th March 2024 on the B4311 Ashburnham Road in the vicinity of Sea View Terrace, Burry Port, Carmarthenshire.

Sadly the male pedestrian sustained fatal injuries in the collision. Next of kin has been advised and is being supported by specialist officers. The vehicle involved was a silver Volvo V40.

Anyone travelling on the B4311 Ashburnham Road, at or near to that location at the time, is requested to make contact with Police.

Investigating officers would particularly like to speak to any motorists who were in the area at that time who have dash cam in their vehicles.
