Arrest made following serious assault in Butetown

Shortly after 9am today (Sunday, February 18) South Wales Police responded to a report of a serious assault on Belmont Walk, Butetown, Cardiff.

One man has been arrested.

There will continue to be an active police presence in the area as we progress enquiries.

Local road closures are in place and members of the public are advised to avoid the area.
