Athletes flock to the Battle on the Beach

THE Battle on the Beach took place this weekend, Saturday and Sunday (Apr 6,7) at Pembrey Country Park. 

 

Thousands of competitors and spectators descended on the park and were welcomed with glorious sunshine.

The course was  a total of 3 laps (or 2 laps for fun categories), covering  approximately 45km.

The event attracts elite and amateur athletes alike and is quite a spectacle to watch.
