Cyclist dies following collision with heavy goods vehicle in Cardiff

Officers investigating a road traffic collision which occurred shortly after 4.00pm on Tuesday evening (December 20) on Leckwith Road, Cardiff have confirmed that a cyclist died at the scene.

 

The 65-year-old man was riding a bicycle when he was in collision with a heavy goods vehicle travelling in the direction of Sloper Road from the city centre.

 

Next of kin have been informed and the circumstances surrounding the collision remain under investigation.

 

South Wales Police is appealing to any witnesses who have not yet come forward or who may have any dashcam or video footage of the incident to come forward and quote reference 2200424961
