Police in Cardiff have charged a man with attempted murder following an incident which happened at around 1.50am on Thursday, November 2 on Harris Avenue, Rumney, Cardiff.

Christian Matthews, 34, from Rumney has been charged with two counts of attempted murder. He appeared before Cardiff Magistrates Court this morning (Friday November 3) and has been remanded into custody.

The two victims remain in hospital in a stable condition.
