Police investigate stabbing in Aberdare

Detective Inspector Matt Hicks said: “South Wales Police is investigating an incident in Aberdare, which has resulted in a man being stabbed.

“Police were called to Cobden Street at 4.10pm yesterday (Monday 17 April).

“A 52-year-old man was taken to hospital. His injuries are not life-threatening.

“A number of cordons are in place in the area while investigations continue.

“Anyone with information, who has not yet spoken to us, is asked to contact us quoting 2300122900.”
