Councillor David Raymond Evans has been elected for the Llanfarian County Council electoral ward during the by-election held on Thursday, 20 July 2023.
The Welsh Liberal Democrats Councillor will represent the ward as County Councillor for Ceredigion County Council.
The position became vacant following former Councillor Geraint Wyn Hughes’ resignation in May 2023.
The turnout for the election was 50.9% with 48.2% of the votes going to Councillor David Raymond Evans. He will start in his new role during the next few days.
