A prolific shoplifter has been jailed after stealing £200 worth of clothes from a shop in Bangor.
Thomas Aled Lloyd, of Lower Penrallt Road, Bangor, entered JD store on Bangor High Street at around 9.35am on 20 August where he took four items of clothing and left the shop with no intention of paying.
The incident was caught on CCTV.
The 28-year-old was arrested and later charged with theft from a shop.
He appeared at Mold Magistrates Court on 22 August where he admitted the offence.
He was jailed for four weeks and ordered to pay £200 in compensation.
This further activated a suspended sentence which was imposed on him on 17 August for a previous theft.
In total he was jailed for 10 weeks.

“We recognise the impact of retail theft not only has on businesses and their staff but also the local community.
“Our teams will continue to deal with any retail thefts robustly and look to bring offenders to justice as swiftly as possible.”
