Man dies following serious RTC on Station Road, Llanelli

Dyfed-Powys Police received reports of a serious RTC in Station Road, Llanelli involving a motorcycle and a pedestrian at approx. 9.55pm on Friday August 1, 2025.

The male pedestrian was walking near the Home Bargains store in Station Road, when he was struck by a motorcycle. He sustained serious injuries, and officers swiftly administered first aid until Ambulance and Air Ambulance attended. Sadly, despite the best efforts of the emergency services the man died at the scene.

Enquiries have led to the arrest of a 21-year-old man on suspicion of Causing Death by Dangerous Driving and other related offences, and he remains in police custody at this time. We are not looking for anyone else in connection with this incident.

The road was closed but re-opened earlier today (2/8/25).

             The family of the deceased have been made aware and are being supported by specialist officers at this time. Our thoughts are with them.
