Search continues for missing Grangetown woman

South Wales Police is continuing to search for Zahooran Begum who has been reported missing and are appealing to the community for help.

Zahooran, 60, has not been seen since leaving her home in Grangetown, Cardiff, at approximately 7.20pm on Saturday, March 2.

Please could Grangetown residents check private CCTV, video doorbell footage and vehicle dashcams for any sightings of Zahooran.

Concern is growing for Zahooran and extensive police enquiries and searches are being conducted in the local area.

Zahooran is described as 5ft 5ins tall, of skinny build, with white and grey hair.

She was last seen wearing a light grey ankle length abaya, a light brown floral-patterned dupatta, and brown and gold plastic sliders.

Zahooran is well-known in the local community, and this is a very worrying time for her family and friends.

Residents of the following streets are asked to please check their cameras:

· Holmesdale Street

· Bromsgrove Street

· Amherst Street

· Ferry Road

· Earl Street

· Kent Street

· Worcester Street

· Clive Street

· Sevenoaks Street

· Forrest Street
