Emergency services were called to reports of an assault and an unconscious male outside The Mill on Brynymor Road at approximately 8:15pm on Friday, July 25.
The 63-year-old victim was taken to Morriston Hospital, where he sadly died on Sunday, July 27.
His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.
Steven Vonk, 50, from Swansea, has been charged with murder. He is scheduled to appear before Swansea Magistrates’ Court on Monday, July 28.
South Wales Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information relating to the incident to come forward. Anyone who can assist the investigation is asked to contact police, quoting reference number 2500237616.
