Car overturns on A484 north of Cwmduad

Police attended a single vehicle road traffic collision which occurred just after 3pm, Sunday, 28th July 2024.

A white Toyota Yaris (pictured) collided with a hedge and overturned on the A484 north of Cwmduad, Carmarthen.

The two occupants of the car were taken to hospital with injuries not believed the be life threatening.

The road was closed from the time of the crash and reopened at 5.40pm.

In the window where the road was closed, traffic was rerouted over the B433 Hermon road.

Pedestrians in Cynwyl Elfed waved down cars to alert them to the incident and to slow down.
