On her first day as Welsh Labour leader, Eluned Morgan has met members of the Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic communities at Sketty Mosque and Community Centre in Swansea.
The visit was the first port of call in Eluned’s summer of listening. She has promised to visit cities, towns and villages all over the country to speak with and listen to people about their priorities for Wales.
Speaking after the visit, Eluned Morgan MS said:
“When I put my name forward to be Welsh Labour leader, I said my priority would be to listen to people across Wales, and to have conversations about what’s important
to them.
“I’m putting that plan into action immediately. I’m really pleased to be in Sketty to have the opportunity to hear from people about what they want from their Welsh Labour Government.”
