The Llanelli store will much bigger and better with over 21,496sqft. of sales space, offering an even bigger selection of great bargains from grocery, toiletries and health & beauty to toys, homeware, and DIY.

The store will also boast its own 7,707sqft. Garden Centre selling hundreds of plant varieties and gardening products.

The current Parc Pemberton bargain store will shut their tills for the final time on Sunday 24th September 2023, but customers don’t have to wait any time at all to visit the new Llanelli store, which opens its doors the day before at 8am on Saturday 23rd September 2023.

The colleagues were asked to nominate a local charity they think truly deserves some VIP treatment for the work they do for the local community. They chose the team from Foothold Cymru Charity to take centre stage and officially unveil the new B&M store.

Foothold Cymru is a social justice charity who for over 30 years have been there for those who need support with the thing’s many of us take for granted – food, clothing, education and employment.

They focus on what’s important to the people of West Wales and work with communities to make changes where they’re needed. Their overall aim is to create strong communities where individuals can thrive and not just survive.

The store manager also commented: “Foothold Cymru really stood out for us, so we wanted to give them some VIP treatment as a thank you for all the hard work that they have done. We hope that our donation can help them to continue the great work they do.”

The store manager at B&M Llanelli, said: “We wanted a bigger and better store for our customers, giving them even more big, branded products.”

“We hope customers are going to be delighted with their new store, we’re really excited to get the doors open very soon.”
