Cor Curiad’s Busy Year in Focus

It has been a very busy year for Cor Curiad. The choir have been flat out taking part in a lot of community activities and even finished the year with a nice cold dip in the sea.

A spokesperson for the choir said: “December was a busy month for the choir with 15 events completed by 17th December and, disappointingly many more turned down as we couldn’t fit them in!”

It all kicked off on 14th November with the Ty Bryngwyn Festival of Light.
Followed by
17th Nov. Cor Curiad Carol’s and Crafts,  Craft Fayre in the Diplomat Hotel in aid of Ty Bryngwyn.
18th Nov.  Llanelli Christmas Carnival.
25th and 26th Bucket collection days for Ty Bryngwyn at Marks and Spencer.
27th. Christmas Craft Fayre Parc y Bocs, Kidwelly.
1st December. CAROLS by Candlelight at the Parish Church in aid of Ty Bryngwyn
3rd Craft Fayre ffwrness theatre selling our Choir Girls Naked Calendar fundraising for Ty Bryngwyn.

7th TATA Steel Senior Citizens Lunch.
8th The Sandpiper  Sandy Water Park entertaining at the Christmas lunch event.

“We are now having a well earned break before the work starts for our Gala 25th Anniversary Concert in Ffwrness theatre Llanelli on 15th April.  This event was an early victim of covid so we are running it two years late, so the choir is actually 27 years old this year! We have booked BGT semi finalists Welsh of the West End as our special guests.   This is our major Ty Bryngwyn Fundraiser for 2023.”
