Police appeal for footage following serious collision that left a 90-year-old man with serious injuries

Dyfed-Powys Police are appealing for people who have CCTV or doorbell footage that could assist our investigation into a serious collision that left a pedestrian in his 90s in hospital.

Officers are looking to trace the rider of a black pit-style motocross bike, which was in collision with the man in High Street, Llanelli, at shortly before 5pm on Friday, 6 January 2023.

We believe the rider drove the wrong way up the street, and hit the man near the junction with Queen Victoria Road.

The casualty was taken to hospital with multiple fractures to his body and face, where he remains in a stable condition.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have footage of the man, either pushing or riding the bike, on New Dock Road, Railway Terrace, High Street or Albert Street.

Despite coming off the bike himself, the rider left the scene and we are now trying to identify him.

He was was wearing dark clothing, a lime green helmet and carrying a grey rucksack.

If you have footage or any information that might help us to find him, or if you are the person involved, please get in touch:
