Dyfed-Powys Police have confirmed that they carried out a large scale operation in Llangennech on Thursday (May 18).
In a statement Dyfed-Powys Police said: “Officers executed a warrant at a property in the Llangennech area on Thursday, 18 May, as part of an ongoing investigation. Enquiries are ongoing.”
Local residents reported seeing a number of unmarked police vehicles at Maes Ty Gwyn in Llangennech. County Councillor Gary Jones confirmed that a large police presence was in he area from around 11am onwards. He said the operation appeared to centre on land to the rear of Maes Ty Gwyn. Cllr Jones also said that a large lorry was used to remove items from the area.
