Police issue information for parking for those attending the funeral of Phil Bennett

The funeral service of Phil Bennett will take place tomorrow at Holy Trinity Church, Felinfoel, Llanelli.

Due to the large numbers expected to attend to pay their respects, parking arrangements have been made to try and ease some of the expected disruption on the road network in Llanelli.

Members of the public attending are advised to allow plenty of time to arrive before the service, and to follow any traffic management directions in the area.

Main parking will be at Calsonic Sports & Social Club, along with additional spaces in the Technology Centre, Llethri Road, Llanelli, SA14 8HU. The public are asked not to attempt to park in the main works car park please, but there will be officers there to direct and assist.

There will also be overflow parking available at Felinfoel Resource Centre, Ynyswen Rd, SA14 8BE, and the Diplomat Hotel, Aelybryn, SA15 3PJ. We are grateful to these businesses for their support in allowing parking at these premises.
