Woman sexually assaulted in Llanelli, Police appeal for witnesses

“Police are appealing for witnesses following a report of a sexual assault on a woman which occurred at approximately 5.30pm on Friday, 25th August 2023.

A 48-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of sexual assault by touching and later released on conditional bail pending further police enquiries.

Anyone who witnessed the incident, which occurred by the Luciana Buildings on Stepney Street, Llanelli, is asked to contact police.

Police would especially like to speak to two women who were walking with a child. They are believed to have assisted the victim and another witness and could have information that may help the investigation.
