Aberystwyth set for World Cup

A giant bucket hat has appeared in the centre of Aberystwyth.

With the World Cup less than two weeks away, Wales are getting ready for the tournament in Qatar. And so are the people of Aberystwyth.

The giant hat surprised people as they walked by. It is an impressive sight.

Complete with Football Association of Wales crest, it’ll help Wales celebrate their first World Cup since 1958.

It was installed in good time for Wales’ opening fixture against USA on November 21.

Ceredigion schoolchildren and sports clubs have been getting behind the Welsh football team too.

The giant hat may just become a focus for Welsh fans and for some great photo opportunities.
