Spillage in Milford Haven closes beach road

DYFED-Powys Police responded to a spillage the area of Gelliswick Road in Milford Haven yesterday morning (31st October).

According to their notice on X (formerly Twitter), Dyfed-Powys Police said there had been some type of spillage which had resulted in the temporary closure of the section of road which runs from Rectory Avenue to Gelliswick Beach, although disruption may have been experienced where S Hook Road meets the Gelliswick Road just before the beach.

Motorists were advised to seek alternative routes of travel around the area while the Council worked to clean the spillage and re-open the roadway.

We reached out to Mid Wales Fire and Rescue Service who were reportedly on scene assisting with the cleanup, however no statement from them has been received so far.
