The Royal Welsh set to unveil brand-new Welsh Food & Drink Village ‘Gwledd’

THE Royal Welsh Agricultural Society is excited to unveil its plans to launch a brand-new Welsh Food and Drink Village in just over a week’s time at the 2023 Royal Welsh Show!

Branded as Gwledd | Feast, the new food village will showcase the very best of Welsh produce in a relaxed, family-friendly environment with seating for over 500 people and a full programme of entertainment on a live music stage.

Visitors to the Royal Welsh Show often say that food is one of the main reasons why they attend and this year the Society is keen to elevate the food experience by offering a greater range of Welsh food options and more places to sit and enjoy their food and drink whilst attending our events. That is why the Society is launching the new food village as a pilot project during this year’s Royal Welsh Show.

Gwledd | Feast will be situated near Entrance B and will be open for the duration of the four days. Food is a key element to all Royal Welsh events and building on the success of the popular Food Hall, the new food and drink village is set to be a fabulous feast of fun and food!

Containers and children from six primary schools will be at the Show to promote their actions, and how they are working to address food inequality and poor diet.
