The lure of free hot dogs and hot chocolate drinks on a chilly winter’s eve certainly persuaded about a hundred local people to leave the comforts of their homes for a few hours .
The event organised by the Llanerch community group was funded by the National Lottery Community Fund/Cronfa Gymunedol and was an absolute winner with local residents.
The free beverages were broadly welcomed by all and served as a great way to bring residents together in such difficult times. Let’s not forget how long we were all confined to our home barracks during the pandemic.
There is also a foodshare, which is open every Saturday at Llanerch Hall.
