Levi Hughes, 21 from Beddau was sentenced to two years and eight months in prison following his conviction.
The sentencing took place on Monday August 24 at Cardiff Crown Court where Hughes pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine.
This follows officers receiving a call in May 2026, that someone believed a house was being used for drug dealing. When officers arrived at the house Hughes wasn’t present. Following arrest enquires Hughes was later located and arrested.
When officers downloaded Hughes phone there was a series of calls and messages linking him to the supply of crack cocaine in the Rhondda area between May 1- May 22 in 2026.
Constable Brett O’Hagan said, “These illegal drugs have devastating consequences on the people further down the chain who end up using them, not to mention their family, friends and wider communities.
“We will continue to investigate any information you have which could relate to the sale or use of these drugs, including combating drug lines across the region”
