South Wales Police respond to serious road traffic collision in Morriston

South Wales Police have issued the following statement after units responded to a serious RTC in the Swansea area:

“We were called to a serious road traffic collision on the A4067 Neath Road, Morriston, Swansea at approximately 6:20pm “on Wednesday 31st January 2024.

“A 40-year-old female pedestrian was struck by a white Chevrolet Captiva travelling south generally towards the roundabout with Castle Bingo. The pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries. Next of kin have been informed.”

We are appealing for witnesses to the collision, or those with dash-cam footage who may have seen the collision or events leading up to it, to contact us via 101, quoting occurrence 2400036408.
