Bi-monthly board meeting for Welsh Ambulance Service

THE Welsh Ambulance Service will host its bi-monthly Board meeting next week.

The public can join on Zoom to hear senior leaders discuss a packed agenda, including progress on actions to mitigate avoidable patient harm, progress on the Trust’s Integrated Medium Term Plan 2024-2027 and bi-monthly reports from both the Chair and Chief Executive.

A member of the NHS 111 Wales service will be discussing their experiences, and there will also be an opportunity for the public to pose questions to the Board.

Chair Colin Dennis said: “Board meetings are an opportunity to really learn about our ambulance service and to understand the processes behind the decisions being made by the Board.

“They’re also an opportunity to hear about the work that’s happening here and now to improve things for patients and staff, as well as put questions to its decision-makers.”

To pre-submit a question, please email AMB_AskUs@wales.nhs.uk by no later than 4:30pm on Wednesday 24 January.

The meeting will also be streamed live to the Trust’s Facebook page, and an agenda will be available on the Trust’s website in the coming days.
